ESR (red blood cell count)
The ESR is a non-specific indicator of the so-called acute phase. An elevated ESR indicates inflammatory or proliferative processes in the body.
Morphology + reticulocytes
Morphology determines the number of red and white blood cells, the level of haemoglobin, haematocrit, their size and haemoglobin content in blood cells: MCH, MCHC, MCV. The morphology examination informs about the general state of health and is the basis for the diagnosis of many diseases.
Urinalysis
Urinalysis indicates the functioning of the urinary system (state of the kidneys, urinary tract infections). It is an important supplement to blood tests.
Glucose
Glucose is the most important of the sugars, affecting carbohydrate metabolism. Glucose testing is used to assess carbohydrate metabolism and is an important test in the diagnosis of diabetes.
Cholesterol
Cholesterol is an essential component of cell membranes. Some hormones and bile acids are formed on its basis. It is mainly produced in the liver. The excess of cholesterol may accumulate on the walls of vessels, causing atherosclerosis. Determination of cholesterol level allows for assessment of fat metabolism. It is a basic test in the prevention of atherosclerosis.
ASPAT
ASPAT is contained in liver cells, muscle cells (skeletal, cardiac), kidney cells. Abnormal values may indicate liver, muscle, kidney disease, myocardial infarction, damage to larger muscle mass.
ALAT
ALAT is mainly found in liver cells. Abnormal values may indicate liver parenchymal disease.
