Printout of spirometry available immediately after the test. Description (additional fee) to be received 3 working days after the test.
Preparation
  • It is not advisable to eat a heavy meal or smoke approximately 1 hour before the examination.
  • Carrying out the examination requires close cooperation between the Patient and the person person performing the examination.
Description of the study
Test pozwalający ocenić wydolność dróg oddechowych i płuc (pomiary pojemności oddechowej). Badanie polega na mierzeniu objętości powietrza w układzie oddechowym. Pozwala ocenić zdolność oddechową, określić pojemność płuc i zawartych w płucach gazów. Daje również informację o  sprawności wentylacyjnej układu oddechowego.
Badanie polega na oddychaniu przez urządzenie nazywane spirometrem.

Cel badania:
  • diagnostyka chorób płuc
  • ocena zawodowego ryzyka narażenia na szkodliwe substancje znajdujące się w powietrzu.
Badanie pozwala wykryć m.in. POCHP- przewlekłą chorobę oskrzelowo-płucną, ktora atakuje głównie palaczy.
Spirometria trwa kilkanaście minut. Wynik jest przekazywany w formie wykresu graficznego.
Indications:
  • shortness of breath accompanied by paroxysmal or chronic cough,
  • dyspnoea during the tree and grass pollen season,
  • period of convalescence and rehabilitation after diseases of the respiratory system respiratory system,
  • smoking.
Contraindications:
  • pacjenci po świeżym zawale serca.
