Preparation
  • Na wykonanie badania Pacjent powinien zgłosić się po posiłku (Pacjent powinien być najedzony).
  • You should stop taking anticoagulants 5 days before the biopsy, unless your doctor has not advised you otherwise.
  • You must bring a referral for the examination - it is absolutely required.
  • You should bring your medical documentation concerning the examined organ (e.g. ultrasound with description, mammography with description, result of isotope examination).
  • Koszt oceny histopatologicznej pobranego materiału (za bioptat) - 100 zł. W niektórych przypadkach do uzyskania rozpoznania może być konieczne wykonanie dodatkowych badań (odczyny immunohistochemiczne), podlegających dodatkowej opłacie.
Description of the study
Biopsja gruboigłowa polega na nakłuciu zmiany/guza w znieczuleniu miejscowym specjalną igłą, która wypełnia się chorobowo zmienioną tkanką. Pobrany wycinek zostaje oddany do badania histopatologicznego. Po zabiegu pacjent nie wymaga specjalnego postępowania. Biopsja dotyczy: piersi, węzłów chłonnych, zmian podskórnych o charakterze guza.
